where can i find wholesalers for jewelry findings and beads? or a cheap place?

Im Irritating to start up a business of making memorial jewelry , I have my tax number etc. trying to figure out how to find wholesalers in jewelry findings, beading etc. I do searches and all i light on up with is sites saying wholesale but when you enter its retail. also does anyone know a correct way in making beads from flower petals? mine are not coming out valid Thanks!

What kind of jewelry findings do not tarnish (other than sterling)?

I have been making jewelry for over a year now using excellent silver. I want to expand my business and start using some base metal supplies, but I still be classy jewelry that will not tarnish. I know stainless steel will not, but I am having a heck of a time finding a arise that sells stainless findings. All the sites I currently order from say "base-metal" but do not say what it is. I don't even thirst to use silver-plated unless it is plated on something that is already silver colored, so if it does come off, the color will not trade.

Gold plated and Gold Filled findings do not taint, but if they are in an area of heavy use may develop some wear. Another option is to polish your Silver (Sterling) with a product that prevents tarnishing/corrosion for extended periods of time. I use a cream form of polish by the name of "Flitz" that impedes stain and corrosion for up to six months. I get it from Riogrande.com.
Storing Silver when it is not being worn is another way to keep it pretty....in a zip lock bag with anti soil tabs or a silver safe type jewelry box. Storing Sterling Silver in any type of wooden container or on a unanimated dowel will hasten tarnishing of Sterling, and most particularly Oak.
