were to send a Simmons scope that is broke?
Mar 15, 2007 by spirtyboy | Posted in Hunting
the scope is very foggie when looking threw it
I had a Simmons scope that needed fixing up and I called Blount the parent company that owns them. I sent the scope into them with the shipping cost being $7. I had purchased the scope tempered to for $60 and I explained that to them when I called. They said it didn't matter they would fix it.
Well they didn't fix it. Instead about ten days later I received a new in the box Weaver V-24 Epitome. The cheapest I've found this scope was $339. So I have EXCELLENT results with their customer service.
Good luck!

It depends on how covet you have had it.
If is under 90 days take it back to the store where you bought it at and exchange it.
Other wise
Prior to the return of any product or part, a Re-emergence Goods Authorization (RGA) number must be obtained by calling Meade's Customer Service Department at (800) 626-3233. Huddle option 2 for support and press option 3 for riflescopes, binoculars, and rangefinders.
Each returned part or product must register a written statement with the RGA number, detailing the nature of the claimed defect, as well as the owner's name, street lecture (we ship via UPS or Fedex, if you must have your product shipped to a post office box, please tell your representative so that we can make other shipping arrangements), day and evening phone numbers, and a replication of the original sales invoice. Include a money order in the amount of $10 U.S. Dollars to cover shipping and handling fees. We allow shipments from U.S.A. and Canadian customers only. In other countries, please contact your Meade International Distributor in your country for servicing.
Write your RGA number clearly on the outside of the package and ship it via a carrier that can give you a tracking number (e.g. UPS, Fedex, DHL, etc.) and set sail it to:

Difference between a simmons 3x9x32 and 4x32 22 mag scope?
Feb 10, 8215 by slitherin10 | Posted in Hunting
what is the dissension between these 2 scopes and dose one of them magnify?
which do you think is better also
Basically with the 3x9x32 you have 3-9 times build-up.
With the 4x32, you only have 4 times and that's your only option.
The "fixed" power scopes used to have a big following because "fluctuating" scopes (like a 3x9) had trouble holding zero when you switched powers. That problem has been solved in most of the seedy model scopes.
The Simmons 22mag is a good series. With the 3x9, you have the option of 4x along with 3,5,6,7,8,9. To me, it's a no-brainer. Go with the variable.

Review of the Simmons 3-9 x 30mm scope and rings.
Unprejudiced a review and comments about problems we had with the rings that come with the scope.
A fundamental sinewave, synthesised on the Arduino by using the PWM (pulse-width modulation) adroitness. Same Y scale as the photo of the filtered PWM signal, but a much slower timebase. Fuzziness of the signal is duw to leftover, un-filtered-out, PWM signal at 31.25kHz.
A phony vibraphone, synthesised on the Arduino by using the PWM (pulse-width modulation) alacrity. Same Y scale as the photo of the filtered PWM signal, but a much slower timebase. Fuzziness of the signal is duw to surplus, un-filtered-out, PWM signal at 31.25kHz.
This triangle undulation is the residual PWM signal (originally a square wave) after filtering through a simple RC network. The resistor is 1kΩ and the capacitor is 68nF. Amplitude of the 31.25kHz signal is about 0.6V. This seems a bit much to me, so I submit to try a more...
