What do you think of Putin and his policies?
And what are your thoughts on the ballistic guided missile defence thingy Bush was trying to push forward in Czeckoslovakia and not Azerbaijan?
Squeaky P as a procedure student, I want to ask you, have you ever heard of MAD theory? Do you have any idea what implications a missile defence system has coming from any wilderness?
Squeaky.P.:Ummm....terrorism has being around for ages: just look at the bloodiest in history, the anarchists. And it was fitted mate. Terrorists don't want a lot of people dead, they want a lot of people watching.
And just because some leaders do not jibe consent to with your cultural values, doesn't mean they are suicidal.
President Putin is a steadfast leader and they are hard to find nowadays...and he is very handsome too! Would you like your neighbor to have missiles in their garden? I surely wouldn't! It is wonderful what he did to Russia in such a short time, the economy is booming and Moscow has become the most expensive city in the world! Parallel that achievement to other ex-Soviet countries! He is a leader who is not afraid of the truth! I wish him all the best!
In What ways were the policies of Gorbachev, Yeltsin, and Putin similar?
A. they all defended unpleasant-line Communism
B. They all supported glasnost and perestroika
C. they all fought agianst civic and economic liberalization
D. they all refused to let the soviet splice split into independent states
Gorbachev was losing acceptance, Yeltsin was a drunk and Putin was ex KGB...go figure.
