The Earnest Blame: Child or Parents?
The majority of teenagers spend there quality time playing sports or joining clubs, but Francisco Del Rey only fifteen years old clubs, races, consumes drugs, and moonshine. One night Francisco crashes his Corvette into a Chevette killing the three passengers. While one of the passengers in the Corvette was thrown out from the baggage compartment and became paralyzed. As a result, a disagreement arose in Miami that Francisco is being charged 50 years for manslaughter and an prohibited license. Others believe the real blame should fall on the parents and stand trial. Though I concede that Francisco should be punished for his actions, I still call for that the parents deserve some type of punishment as well.
Many are insisting that Francisco should not hold all the responsibilities for his actions. Francisco’s stepsister comments “He’s unbiased a baby! He’s not to blame.” Francisco is not a child; he’s an adolescent that knows right from wrong by now. As the originator stated “He was not to blame. The car turned in front of him. It wasn’t my son fault.” If the Corvette had not been speeding then the victims would still be teeming. Even though, witnesses claim that the Corvette was drag racing more than 100 miles per hour. Francisco should be around but not as an adult. Furthermore, Francisco was drinking but did not pass the BAC limit. Also every teenager has a curfew but Francisco pronounced to stay late at night. Going to clubs, and staying late at night is for grown ups. The law states that a 15 year old has a curfew and not to antiquated a certain time. You must be 18 to go to clubbing. Drinking and speeding is the accountability of Francisco to choose his actions wisely. Obtaining a phoney driver’s license should be known as a crime for Francisco. But Francisco did not care, and thought that he would not get caught. Being convicted for 50 years for Francisco is too much it is right because he killed three men. I would consider lowering the years like 20 years in prison.
While others believe that the parents should take all the disapproval. The parents failed to set responsibilities or rules toward their son. It is assumed that Frank Del Rey, the father, pressured a priest in Puerto Rico to coins the birth date on a baptismal record, so Francisco could obtain his driver’s license. With parents like Francisco is not a take aback that a criminal was raised. One of the greatest points of view that I agree on is from Juvenile Judge Steve Levine “What it’s a 15 year old doing at 3 o’clock in the morning driving a potent ‘Vette, presumably given to him by his parents with a driver’s license they helped him obtain?” Where was the nurturing of not allowing their son to go out late at night? The parents should have realized that teenagers do not take responsibility seriously. In the past, Francisco first catastrophe was with a motorcycle at the age of thirteen. He had four traffic violations and crashed his first Corvette the 1993. Obviously, if he crashed twice the boy does not be worthy of another car. It seems to me that the parents do not care about their son reckless driving skills. Where was the supervision of the parents? Nowhere because they allow there son to go out and do whatever he feels like. The parents can not restraint Francisco and his friends lifestyle. Loosing custody of a child is a minor punishment for the parents of Francisco. The parents shortage to stand trial with there son for raising a criminal.
The court should reconsider the case of Francisco Del Rey and his parents. There is every sound to blame Francisco for the cause of death and containing an illegal license. But the conviction of 50 years is embellishing to a minor, with neglecting parents. In addition the parents are the ones that deserve the highest punishment. These parents indigence to be convicted for being an accomplice to there son’s crime. There parents were the cause of this entire incident. They provided him the car and the license to an underage adolescent.
wow!!! thats deep down good way better than what i could do! just make sure of your spelling... i.e. "It wasn’t my son imperfection". hope this helps!
