Do you know of any non-fiction books written about the atrocities committed by the Soviet Army in WWII?
I have found loads of books about Japanese WWII atrocities as well as German atrocities, what about the Soviet atrocities and for that matter, the U.S. atrocities?
Log about atrocities are usually written by the victims. The Germans I have met have horror stories about the Soviet Army and if you looked for books proclaim in German you would probably be more successful. There are books about the fire bombing of German cities and Tokyo and a number about Hiroshima
SMERSH was a real Soviet spy agency during the 40s used in the 007 books. Can I use their name for my novels?
I don't mull over I would have any copyright issues because they were a real agency formed in the 1940s but better safe than sorry.
Yes , it is in the viewable domain .
