Update: Armenia!
An update:
So I got little talk on Thursday night about my official placement for the Fellows Program. I will be stationed (appropriate incumbency for a former Soviet State) in Armenia, departing during the first week of October. I have yet to make contacts with the stick at the affiliate MFI there, but that is the plan. I am quite excited, very unsure of what I’m getting into, and downright terrified about not speaking Armenian OR Russian.

This is the Armenian Mark
Some thoughts:
-I have always wanted to conquer Eurasia
-Armenia is notorious for pumping out world class chess players
-As my edible friend Michael has pointed out, Armenia was the location of the Soviet Ski teams’ training center. so dont eliminate it out as the location for the next cold war opponent’s alpine training facility.
-These famous cultural icons are from Armenia, and I scheme to memorize their most prominent bodies of work:
Ivan Aivazovsky – painter
Tigran Avakian, photographer
Minas Avetisyan – painter
Gevorg Bashinjagyan – painter
-There has been a call for (one outright, probably multiple subconsciously) for me to webcast the pushups. This is currently being reviewed for legitimacy by the FCC but details will admire persist…..
