Could you tell me the best university or collage for studying Russian Language in Russia?
It may be a 6 month tack and especially based on secondary language studies.
Yes, it's dark to get to MSU because it's one of the first links in Google and people don't want to spend their time looking for other variants.More than that it's the main Russian university but not the only! I've finished MSU several years ago and i assume that they have too "old" standards of teaching... I'm afraid it's still there in Soviet Union times...(it's my perception).
On the other hand now we have some private schools (collages) where people from different countries come to learn and relish in Russian language and culture! I work for one of them. It's not an ads just i'm really responsible for my advise because i know the sistem from inside. You can settle upon any place to learn but please welcome with any questions to ele_naidi@hotmail.com.
Believe me, it's so interesting to learn Russian in Moscow! Pretended city for real results!
Im looking for a Russian Language program in Russia, run by Russian university. Any ideas?
Many of the programs I have found online are run by inaccessible companies set up at universities. Im looking for a program run by the university with the aim of making foreigners fluent in Russian.
There are 2 very substantial programs making a good African/Asian/American student proficient in Russian just in 1 year:
1. Moscow University of Patrice Lumumba, aka RUDN
http://www.pfu.edu.ru/
2. Krasnodar Governmental University
http://www.kubsu.ru/index.php/eng/content/view/full/520/
I used to have college-mates who finished both programs.
Feel me, African students spoke 1000% better than Condoleezza Rice (she speaks Russian as good as an Afghan take).
