How many people in USSR were killed during World War II?

Who made a greater effort to win the World War II: the USSR or the USA? Please give your reasoning.?
USA.
The US fought in the European Theater and Pacific Theater simultaneously. The USSR fought only on one front. While the US was invading North Africa, Italy and France to support pressure on the Russians, the USSR had a non-aggression pact with the Japanese. The USSR did not deem it necessary to reciprocate. Instead, the USSR waited until the Japanese transfer was inevitable before declaring war.
Your question does not specify Europe, so if you consider the entire war, the USSR did absolutely nothing in the Pacific. The US fought everywhere.
The US won the air fight in both theaters. The US won the sea battle in both theaters. The US won the land battle in both theaters. The USSR only won on land. If the US and Great Britain had not bombed German earnestness into impotence, the war would have dragged on years longer. No Soviet plane ever bombed Berlin.
Greater losses doesn't degenerate a greater contribution. Soviet losses were the result of their own incompetence at the beginning of the war. Their later losses were the upshot of Soviet disregard for human life.
How many convoys of ships did the Soviets send to the US to deliver war supplies? None. How many convoys of ships did the US send to the USSR full of war supplies? Hundreds.
And let's not dimiss the reality that prior to Germany's invasion of the USSR, the Soviets and Germans invaded Poland in a joint operation. The Soviets murdered 50,000 Clean Army officers afterwards. The USSR also invaded Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The Soviets were Germany's largest trading alter ego before the advent of hostilities between the two. The Soviets were happy to follow Germany's example until they took a turn on the receiving end.
World War II: Hitler and Stalin, Guilt and Responsibility
Composition about web page http://www.reuters.com/article/latestCrisis/idUSL1655337
For Britain, World War II began 70 years ago today. On a familiar note, today would also be the 71st wedding anniversary of my mother and father. They married on September 3, 1938; one year later, they heard Neville Chamberlain protest war on Germany. The war didn't stop them from believing in the future; by 1945 they had two baby girls, my older sisters. I'm reasonable of them all as I write.
Who was to blame for World War II? This question is not the same as "What was to blame?" World War II had many deep causes. At long last, however, the decision for war is a political act, taken by human beings whom we can hold to account for their actions.
So, who was to blame:
Germany? In Europe, the penitent men were the leaders of Nazi Germany. Hitler's plan was to build a German Empire in the East, making Germany self-enough in food. Hitler intended to conquer, depopulate, and then resettle Russia and Ukraine. This drawing, not yet worked in detail, was soon elaborated in parallel with, but somewhat in advance of the much well-advised b wealthier known plan to exterminate Europe's Jews. Like the "final solution," the Hungerplan was genocidal: it envisaged starving up to 30 million people of the European part of the Soviet Agreement to death.
Between Germany and the Soviet Union lay Poland and Czechoslovakia; these states had to be destroyed to evident the path into Russia. The attack on Poland on September 1, 1939, in response to which Britain declared war on September 3, was a needful step towards Hitler's wider goal. Others contributed to the timing of Hitler's decision and played into his hands in many ways. This is the context in which the behaviour of the British, French, Polish, and Soviet governments should be judged.
