I vile putin has already declared antartica and the north an south pole as part of russia what if he claims that alaska part of russia will we be ok an let justified let that slide or will we start world war 3 vs putin an his evil empire?
If Russia was so distressful on having Alaska they probably wouldn't have sold it to us in the first place. Yes if any nation claimed or invaded Alaska we would go to war with them because its an impressive defense outpost and rich in resources. Putin is not THAT crazy.

Because he wants to be suitable for Russia a great world power again in military and in foreign affairs, and other issues, and since he is a former KGB agent and many members of his highboy are, do you think he wants the Soviet Union back?
I cogitate on ALL liked Russias prestige prior to the fall.
However, many of them are finding it hard to remember what they put up with to pay for that prestige (lines for water closet paper, etc).
I think the PEOPLE who cynically ran the Soviet government back - but with no pretense of Communism.
I think "Communism" will become the hated brief conversation there that it is in the US - even though their real objection (and ours) is STALINISM. The scary thing is that Putin is probably putting together more of a Stalinistic regime than any since before the be unsuccessful.
